UNFORGETTABLE JULY 20XX:PART 4

Bro M said while fixing his eyes steadily on the road..

We were close to the amusement park,he was driving and I felt I was making him uneasy. But since I wasn't at all pleased with the answer he gave me, I decided to probe further.. at least so I could have something good to tell Dami.

"Bro hope you know Dami is really into you oo..please don't hurt her oo..i may be little and all but I know what i'm saying"i said with a tone that showed I had stated my mind.

"There's no problem ok. Everything is under control"he said while giving out short laughs.

Now I didn't know if I should believe they were genuine.. I had started feeling somehow..didn't understand him...he didn't sound convincing at all..or maybe my head was playing with me and making me sense bullshit..

I shrugged all negative thoughts off and decided to just enjoy the moment..

We eventually got to the park...wow! It all looked beautiful and I wanted to try out everything...

So we first walked to the ice cream stand. Bro M got me my favorite-vanilla- and when we were about going to check out the other parts..my phone rang..

"Excuse bro,need to take this" I said..

Shifting a bit,i pressed the answer button and whispered into the phone.

"Sister me." I said.

"Somma what's happening nah? Are you on your way back?"Dami asked

"No o...we are at the amusement park...Dami i'm having real fun"

"I can imagine..let me leave you to enjoy..but don't forget what you're meant to do o"

"Nah..i won't." i said..remembering that I didn't get anything meaningful from her boyfriend..

      

I went back to meet Bro M and the day continued with no serious thing happening..

I got home finally, very stressed out. Dami was very anxious to hear me say something.

Bro M had given me some money..i showed her and she was very happy..

I told her what I asked Bro M..

"Ok nah tell me, what did he say when u said that?" she asked expectant..

"Dami, I think Bro M loves you enough to marry you.."i said without thinking about it

"He said it will happen very soon. That he wants to arrange some things first and he'll be here before we know it.."

"Hmm..baby hope you didn't make it look like we are desperate?"

"No oo..how nah?i can't do that.."

"Okay o, I trust you. God is in control!! Finally!!"

At the end of that conversation,i realized I had said more than I was meant to...more that what I was told..I mean Bro M didn't say anything like that..He didn't sound like anything serious was going to happen soon.. But I still told Dami that anyways,i guess maybe he meant to say that but forgot..

Lol I just convinced myself to believe that and I needed to make sure Dami was happy..

After that day,things continued moving good for everybody..Bro M would travel out, get stuff for Dami and everybody at home..

New phones, laptops, clothes..none of these were any issue for her..he always provided them.

But nothing was happening still..She still didn't meet with any member of his immediate family. Also, we were yet to see him do what was on everybody's mind-marriage........
