UNFORGETTABLE JULY 20XX: PART 3

OK on the day i was to go see Bro M, i was very nervous. My beloved sister took her time to dress me up to her taste. I wore a blue jean trouser and a top to match., My hair was combed and packed neatly and I could tell with the image I saw when I looked in the mirror that i was looking good..
Bro M had asked me to meet him in a fast food restaurant in town- A very popular one.It was a 30 minutes bus ride from our house. I'd never been there before and that was why i was very tensed.
Dami saw me off to the bus park..I entered the bus and all i could think of all through the ride was how i was going to behave being with him. I concluded within myself that i was going to be at my best, that is be myself and not forget what Dami asked me to do.
I had his number so i communicated with him till i got to the fast food. i got down from the bus,crossed the road and dialed his number again to tell him I had gotten there.He came out to meet me.. We exchanged greetings,we hugged(side hug from me actually. was too shy to do more than that), then he took me inside... He was with a friend. When we got to the table, he started the introductions,
"Ade, meet my niece Somma, Somma my friend Ade..We are friends from work.." he said...
I smiled sheepishly, while i shook hands with his friend..
"Nice to meet you" Ade said..I only smiled and nodded..Foolish me. Well, what could i do when i was still trying to figure out if I had heard Bro M well..LOL...Me, Somma, Bro M's niece..wonders shall never end.
I did one thing though.. pretend i didn't hear any of that. we sat down and when he asked what i wanted to eat, I told him.
The day was going well so far. His friend Ade proved to be a comedian as he said so many funny things that made us laugh so hard and well.I began to ease up and enjoy their company.
After some time, when we had finished eating, we all went outside. Ade said he had to leave. Had somewhere very important to be...He got into his car and drove off.
It was just Bro M and me..We were going to the amusement park now..wow! this was getting really exciting. I didn't expect all these pampering...
On our way to the park, we got talking.. He started by asking me how my school was, my course of choice when i enter the university and things like that.
At that moment, I remembered i was on a mission.. i could hear Sister Dami's voice and instruction in m mind. I turned to look at him with my best face on.
"Big bro...there's something that's been on my mind". i said..uncertain of his reaction though.
"Carry on my dear, you can tell me whatever"Bro M said..
i said a silent thank you to myself..at leasr he had accepted..
" Uhm.."mehn i was so nervous. Using my best baby voice sha, i continued.
"...when are you going to make things official between you and Dami? I mean you guys have been together for a long time and everybody's expecting you to come to the house"..
Bro M chuckled..One very short laugh i don't think sounded pleasant in my ear...He took a while to answer then....
